The event is hosted by Emerald Triangle Craft, in collaboration with the Humboldt County Growers Alliance (HCGA) and licensed California cannabis retailers. It’s a private donor appreciation event that celebrates the Emerald Triangle’s independent farmers and craft culture.

Attendance is limited to adults 21 and over with a valid, government-issued ID. Individuals 18 and over with a valid California Medical Recommendation are also welcome to attend in accordance with state law.

Once you make your VIP donation, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to reserve your tickets for the VIP Donor Party of your choice.

In that email you will receive a coupon code that allows you to "purchase" your ticket(s) for $0. Only Donors may get tickets, but due to the way the website works, we needed to put a value on the tickets and give you a coupon code to make the tickets complimentary.

Please bring your valid ID (21+ or 18+ with MMIC), your RSVP confirmation, $1 (California law prohibits giving away cannabis for free, so we will need to collect $1 from you when you receive your 12 Jays of Xmas box) and festive spirit! Cannabis products will only be distributed by licensed retailers at the events.

Yes! You can still make a donation to support the Emerald Triangle’s small farmers. Please note that Gift Boxes are only distributed in person at the VIP celebrations.

Each box features a curated collection of twelve small-batch, premium pre-rolls, one from each of the independent farms in this year’s collaboration. Every pre-roll is lab-tested and compliant with California regulations. Each box contains 12 grams of cannabis. The box also contains an insert with detailed descriptions of the flavor, aroma, and effects of each pre-roll, written by the farmer who grew it.

Yes! The 12 Jays of X-Mas Gift Box will also be available for purchase at select licensed retail partners across California while supplies last.

No. Boxes cannot be shipped, mailed, or transferred remotely under California cannabis law. All 12 Jays of X-Mas Gift Boxes must be picked up in person from a licensed California retailer or at one of the official VIP Celebration events.

Yes. Participating farms receive fair, wholesale compensation for their pre-rolls, along with a licensing fee for utilizing their brand assets as part of the campaign. Participating farmers donate a portion of the pre-rolls in support of the 12 Jays of Xmas project, in exchange for receiving marketing support from the project to increase awareness of their brands.

Yes. You can reserve additional VIP tickets by selecting one of our tiered donation levels ($125 / $250 / $550). Each VIP ticketholder receives one 12 Jays Gift Box at the celebration.

Under California law, adults 21+ may possess up to one ounce (28.5 g) of cannabis for personal use. Each box contains exactly 12 grams, so an individual may legally purchase or receive up to two boxes.

Guests with a valid California Medical Marijuana Identification Card may qualify for higher possession limits.

If you’ve purchased multiple VIP tickets, please bring additional guests so each box can be distributed in compliance with state law.

Donations are non-refundable, but VIP tickets may be transferred. To transfer your ticket, email hi@emeraldtriangle.com with the full name and email of the person you’d like to assign it to. The deadline for transferring your ticket is 24 hours prior to the start of your chosen event. Your guest will receive the event invitation and may attend the celebration and receive the 12 Jays Gift Box in your place. All attendees must be 21+ or 18+ with a valid MMIC, and present ID at check-in.

No. HCGA and Emerald Triangle Craft do not sell cannabis. All cannabis products are distributed by licensed California retailers in full compliance with state and local regulations.

Each venue complies with local laws regarding cannabis consumption. Some venues may offer designated consumption areas; others may not. Details will be provided in your event confirmation email.

No. The Humboldt County Growers Alliance is a 501(c)(6) trade association, not a charitable organization. Donations toward VIP tickets are not tax-deductible.
